Description:

An ephemeris provides the positions of naturally occurring astronomical objects in the sky at a specific time and place. The Sun Ephemeris accurately determines the positions of the sun and the moon at any given time and location on Earth. This tool is particularly useful for landscape, nature, travel, and outdoor photographers as it combines a map-based feature for global location searches with a compass-based function to easily ascertain the directions of the sunset, sunrise, moonset, and moonrise.

1. Find Your Location

Utilize the map view to pinpoint your current location manually or enable GPS to center the map precisely where you are located. You also have the option to search for any place globally by providing its name. By selecting a location, the Sun and Moon positions will be automatically updated.

2. Set Desired Time

Make use of the calendar controls to adjust the date and time settings. Switch between days or weeks effortlessly or utilize the date-time picker to select a specific date. You can then fine-tune the timing throughout the day using the elevation graph. At any point, you can easily navigate back to real-time by activating live mode which syncs with your device's clock.

3. Find Directions

Access the Compass view to obtain directional guidance to Sunrise, Sunset, Moonrise, or Moonset for your chosen location and date.
